Custom Design & Production Deposit
This non-refundable deposit secures a limited run of five commemorative bolo ties created exclusively for Stranahan's Bottled in Bond release.
Project Scope
The current project scope includes:
- Five (5) cast sterling silver bolo ties
- One 5–7mm American-mined turquoise centerpiece per bolo
- Incorporation of the Stranahan's "S" logo in a simplified format
- Traditional bolo cord and bolo tips

One of the following approved design directions:
- Colorado Mountain & Bighorn — a stylized mountain landscape paired with a bighorn sheep motif
- High Desert Shield — a Southwestern-inspired shield design featuring hand-carved textures, sunburst elements, and a centered turquoise stone
Design Approval
A formal design proposal, including renderings and/or sketches, will be provided for review and approval prior to moving into production.
One round of minor revisions is included. Significant changes to the approved design may result in additional fees and/or adjustments to the production timeline.
Final design approval must be received no later than June 23, 2026, in order to maintain the agreed-upon production schedule.
Timeline
Design work will begin no earlier than June 22, 2026.
The completed prototype/master will be shipped to the casting company no later than June 24–25, 2026.
The anticipated ship date for the completed bolo ties is on or before July 26, 2026.
Deposit & Payment Terms
- A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve the project and will be applied toward the final project balance.
- Final payment is due prior to shipment or delivery of the completed pieces.
Estimated Investment
Final pricing will be determined using Mend Metalworks' standard pricing formula, including materials, labor, casting expenses, and associated production costs. A wholesale discount of 30% off the final retail value will then be applied.
Based on the current scope of work, the anticipated total investment is approximately $3,500, depending on final design decisions and production requirements.
By purchasing this deposit listing, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined above.
Renderings and media uploads will be provided and updated regularly by designer.

I offer free U.S. standard shipping on all orders over $275. Orders below that amount, select your shipping option at checkout. We want you to love your Mend Metalworks jewelry! Unworn, undamaged items can be returned for a full refund, but please do the following:
- Contact me within three days of delivery with your request and reason,
- Ship back within 7 days of delivery in original conditions and packaging,
- Shipping costs will be incurred for both directions,
- Custom pieces are the exception and cannot be returned. We will work with you to ensure your piece is exactly what you want before it ships!
