Cosmic New Lander Variscite Doublet Ring

Two extraordinary New Lander variscite doublets, each seemingly the inverse of the other. One features pale green islands separated by dark, webbed matrix, while the other reveals scattered flecks of green against a nearly black background. The juxtaposition is striking, almost cosmic.

These stones were cut by the father-and-son team behind Johnson Lapidary in Tucson, Arizona, whose lapidary work has long been among my favorites.

Set side by side in substantial sterling silver bezels, the contrasting stones create an asymmetrical, sculptural design. A double-band shank and oxidized finish complete the piece.

  • We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or any rowdy adventuring!

I offer free U.S. standard shipping on all orders over $275. Orders below that amount, select your shipping option at checkout. We want you to love your Mend Metalworks jewelry! Unworn, undamaged items can be returned for a full refund, but please do the following:

  • Contact me within three days of delivery with your request and reason,
  • Ship back within 7 days of delivery in original conditions and packaging,
  • Shipping costs will be incurred for both directions,
  • Custom pieces are the exception and cannot be returned. We will work with you to ensure your piece is exactly what you want before it ships!
