A necklace made slowly, piece by piece.

At the center is a heart-shaped Ivory Creek Variscite, a beautiful Nevada stone known for its soft, earthy palette. This particular stone is quiet and luminous; creamy ivory with subtle natural variation that makes it feel almost ancient.

The heart is hand-set in sterling silver and suspended from a small gold-filled bail, adding just a touch of warmth against the silver. Tiny glass African trade beads lead into a completely hand-fabricated sterling silver chain, with each link formed and assembled by hand.

I especially love the mix of textures in this piece; the softness of the variscite, the tiny irregularities of the glass beads, the handmade silver links, and that single warm glint of gold.

The necklace can be worn at its full 18" length or clasped shorter along the handmade chain. Additional length can also be added upon request; please send me a message before ordering if you'd like a longer length.

Shipping + Returns

I offer free U.S. standard shipping on all orders over $275. Orders below that amount, select your shipping option at checkout. We want you to love your Mend Metalworks jewelry! Unworn, undamaged items can be returned for a full refund, but please do the following:

  • Contact me within three days of delivery with your request and reason,
  • Ship back within 7 days of delivery in original conditions and packaging,
  • Shipping costs will be incurred for both directions,
  • Custom pieces are the exception and cannot be returned. We will work with you to ensure your piece is exactly what you want before it ships!
