What to Expect at Shows and Festivals

When you visit me at a show or festival, you will find handcrafted sterling silver jewelry and natural stones I have collected over the years. People always comment on the stones first because they are unusual and full of character. You will see turquoise, variscite, jasper, Rosarita, white buffalo, rutilated quartz, and other rare materials that look like riverbeds, desert skies, and ancient rock faces. You will be able to touch the jewelry, feel the textures, and notice the weight of something made by human hands. You can expect easy conversation and genuine connection while looking through a thoughtful and well curated group of artists. Seeing the work in person is a chance to slow down, explore, and find something unforgettable.

One of a Kind Stones and Meaningful Craftsmanship

Every piece I bring to a show is carefully chosen. I travel to gem shows across the Southwest searching for stones that stand out for their pattern, color, and story. I make all of my jewelry by hand in my home studio in Durango, Colorado, using traditional metalsmithing techniques, including sawing, soldering, filing, setting, and finishing. The result is work that feels grounded and authentic with visible textures and marks that come from the maker’s process. If you like jewelry that carries meaning, character, and a sense of place, this is where you will find it.

Ask About Custom Jewelry

Many people find a stone they love at a show and decide to create a custom piece. You can bring ideas or simply choose a stone and let the process unfold. Custom jewelry is a way to celebrate milestones, mark transitions, or carry a story forward with something you will wear every day. If you are curious about commissioning a piece, come talk with me at the booth. I am always happy to share how the custom process works, what to expect, and how to get started.
